Our services include carrying out the process as a proxy on a clear, transparent and legal basis, participating in the opening, closing and interim meetings when necessary, preparing the objection in meeting the issues in the report, and assisting in the follow-up of the deadlines.
What is Post Control?
Post-control is defined as the control of commercial documents and data related to the customs procedures of the goods and/or subsequent commercial transactions, including the accuracy of the declared information and whether the transactions are carried out duly, or the risky person or transactions at the places belonging to the relevant persons.
The declarations made to the customs administrations and the subsequent control of the documents added to the declaration were carried out within the General Directorate of Control until 2009. Since this control was limited to the declared information and documents added to the declaration, a comprehensive control could not be carried out, and it also prevented the formation of a risk pool that would constitute a source for all evaluations.
Based on the provisions of Articles 10 and 73 of the Customs Law No. 4458, the Regulation on Post-Control and Control of Risky Transactions was published in the Official Gazette dated 27.10.2008 and numbered 27037, in order to determine the application procedures and principles of post-control and to carry out post-control within a plan and program, its actual implementation, as it is known, was implemented in 2009 (to co
